		<description>Heh, great these are my fav&#039; things re-make and now I&#039;ll have to call my Doc to get it out of my head.  Jamie, excellent guest post!  I&#039;m big on preventive medicine for children and not one to wait it out.  And, I&#039;ve been blessed with a great group of pedis at my child&#039;s office who hand out cell phones numbers etc..</description>

Interesting, as usual. You&#039;re very correct about nurse advice lines, though. Most pediatric offices use them these days, and with good reason. In my own experience, the seasoned nurses who staff those lines can answer 95% of the questions parents have.</description>
